ISS appoints Matthew Tomao as Regional Commercial Director

Tomao will be responsible for driving ISS’s sales and business development efforts in all Northeast U.S. markets

WOODBRIDGE, NJ – Intelligent Security Systems (ISS), a global provider of video intelligence and data awareness solutions, announces that industry veteran Matthew Tomao has joined the company as Regional Business Manager for Americas North.

Specifically, Tomao will be responsible for leading the company’s sales and business development efforts in all Northeastern United States markets.

Tomao, a US Army veteran, began his career as an estimator designing and developing security systems for Peace of Mind Technologies, a New York-based security systems integrator.

Prior to joining ISS, Tomao served as a business development manager for another New York-based integration company, Mutual Security Services, where he was responsible for building a highly profitable interactive video surveillance division from zero, according to the company.

“As a New Jersey-based company, our backyard in North America has always been the Northeast,” says Matt Powell, general manager of North America at ISS. “Matt’s connections in the North East and his vast experience in video will not only enrich our relationships, but also focus our efforts in the region.”

Tomao is the fourth addition to the ISS North American team since June, when Powell was named general manager for North America. In the months that followed, the company also brought in industry veterans Joel Griffin, director of marketing for North America, and Jacob Jablonski, regional sales manager for the Southeast.

“ISS is at the forefront of high-trust video analytics, and analytics is the future of the security industry,” says Tomao. “I am thrilled to work for such an industry leader and look forward to continuing to grow our footprint in North America. »

Tomao, who is also a published comic book writer, resides on Long Island with his wife and three children. He can be contacted at [email protected]
